A Dutch print, and type-loving creative person. I make stuff I enjoy working on. I’ve been told people like it, so you probably will too! (hopefully:)) 

And the artist statement I have written that would be a shame to go unused:

Through a multidisciplinary practice grounded in graphic design, printmaking, illustration, and narrative, I interrogate the systems and structures that shape everyday life. My work resists the impulse toward convenience and familiarity that defines much of contemporary visual culture, instead embracing overlooked crafts and slow, deliberate methods of making. Repetition, for me, is not simply a process but a practice of consciousness—one that brings a humane stillness to the act of creation and allows space for deeper inquiry.

I am particularly drawn to the tension between language and meaning, using visual storytelling to expose the limitations, contradictions, and assumptions embedded in our communication systems. By weaving together layered, tactile techniques, I invite audiences to linger, question, and reconsider what they take for granted. Each piece becomes a quiet disruption—a space to unlearn the familiar and examine the social constructs that often go unnoticed.

In a world hungry for clarity and quick answers, my work advocates for slowness, complexity, and sustained engagement. It is a call to remain curious, to stay with discomfort, and to find beauty in the repetitive labor that reclaims agency in both craft and critique.
